Step 1. Pre- and Post-Cleanse
Always cleanse the area to be waxed with LYCOtane Cleanser prior to waxing and immediately after waxing. This will help to close the hair follicles and reduce any debris from entering the pores. When we perform waxing services, the hair follicle is opened, so it is important to cleanse the skin prior to waxing to ensure all lotions, makeup and dirt particles are not on the skin. Cleansing the skin immediately after the wax helps to further ensure the follicles close and reduces the risk of irritation.
Step 2. Cold Compress
A cold wet compress is also a great way to further soothe and cool the skin after a wax. This will help minimize redness and reduce any inflammation.
Step 3. Ingrown Solution
