At in-cosmetics Global 2026 in Paris, Shin-Etsu Silicones Europe B.V. showcased a new generation of high-performance silicone raw materials engineered to elevate texture, sensory performance and formulation flexibility across today’s most competitive beauty categories. Presented through an immersive texture bar experience, the company highlighted solutions spanning O/W, W/Si, and W/O emulsions, as well as aqueous gels, powders, bi-phase systems and anhydrous textures.

Among the launches was KF-6070W, a water-soluble silicone wax designed to create smooth, hydrating O/W textures with a soft, melting skin feel, alongside KF-6080W, a high-performance silicone emulsifier compatible with organic oils and UV filters for highly stable, non-tacky formulations. The company also introduced WHP-100MS, a natural-origin hybrid powder delivering intense soft-focus benefits with silky sensory properties and high oil absorption.

Additional innovations included KSG-16-SF and KSG-19-PF silicone elastomer gels for enhanced blurring and sophisticated powdery textures, as well as X-52-7162, a silicone-coated cellulose powder developed to boost soft-focus effects while helping conceal pores, wrinkles and uneven skin texture. Collectively, the launches reinforce Shin-Etsu’s focus on helping formulators deliver advanced sensorial experiences while meeting growing market demands for performance, naturality and innovation.
