Prestige haircare brand Olaplex unveiled its financial results for the second quarter, which ended on June 30.
In comparison to the second quarter of 2024, net sales increased 2.3% to $106.3 million. Specialty retail, which comprises the brand's largest channel, decreased 16.7% to $30.4 million, while professional and direct-to-consumer both increased 12.1% to $37.4 million and 12.8% to $38.5 million, respectively.
The Q2 results show a shift from the previous quarter, where specialty retail increased and professional and direct-to-consumer decreased.
"We delivered a solid first half of 2025. We remain in the midst of a multi-pronged transformation and are encouraged by the progress realized thus far. We are optimistic for the future as we continue to execute on our Bonds and Beyond strategy," CEO Amanda Baldwin shares.
The brand recently celebrated the launch of its new Pro Scalp Rebalancing Concentrate at Cosmoprof Las Vegas. Between its new professional-only service and visual rebrand that puts its Global Ambassadors front and center in promotional imagery and social content, Olaplex is continuing its promise to put the hair professional first.
