In 2023, we will be seeing hybrid color. Hybrid color is a hybrid of traditional allover color and a full head of highlights. It is a continuation of the movement away from full-time hair commitments. Hybrid color is shiny with sparkles of light; it is multifaceted. This works with a strong base color and pops of a slightly lighter tone; it allows the hair to have a different look with every turn of the head, a hybrid. It allows the hair to be in better condition as well as require less maintenance, and this is what clients want post-pandemic. Clients can do a cooler, platinum blonde, or warm it up a bit like Taylor Swift, depending on what looks best with their skin tone.
