Fundamentals of Makeup Artistry

This course is designed to teach individuals the basics of makeup artistry or to refresh the skills of professionals in the fundamentals of makeup application used in the salon, spa settings and as a freelance artist. You will learn: sanitation and infection control, color schemes, terms and quality, basic makeup applications and blending techniques, prep and client consultation, skin type, texture, tones and undertones, primers, foundation, lipsticks, blushes, proper workstation setup and cleanup, ergonomic techniques for makeup artists and opportunities available for makeup artists.
