Urban Float plans to open three locations in Houston, according to a recent company release. Additionally, they plan to expand in the region with locations in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.
Focus on Relaxation
Urban Float specializes in flotation therapy, where a guest floats in a sound-controlled spa pods with 1,200 pounds of Epsom salt. The treatments are designed to suspend people who sit in them, which purportedly boost relaxation.
The first location is to open in early March, with the second location scheduled to open in the summer of 2017. There are also plans to expand in Washington.
