Having my experience in chemistry and formulation, I believe creating products that work effectively is an art form. From ensuring there is a great delivery system whether its time release technology or using cutting edge ingredients like cysteamine, we at DermaQuest Clinical differ because our priority is ensuring all of our products and treatments yield results. We want to ensure that we are using the best of the best ingredients. Compared to other brands, we are always creating and looking to enhance the performance of our products. We never want to compromise the quality and we always pay attention to active ingredients as well as the blends as a whole. We conduct clinical studies to test the results and ensure our products work safely yet effectively. For us, innovation isn’t just for marketing purposes. We are on a mission to help everyone achieve beautiful skin.
Q: What products are you most proud of?

Q: What ingredient do you think is a game changer for the skin care industry?
A: Cysteamine will reshape the industry in regards to pigmentation solutions. Our MelaQuest collection utilizes cysteamine which is a preventative and corrective hyperpigmentation treatment that is effective yet safe for all fitzpatricks. Cysteamine is safe and it works to both treat pre-existing dark spots while preventing hyperpigmentation from occurring. Cysteamine is not only good for hyperpigmentation, but it helps with antioxidant protection as well ensuring your skin will be treated and protected.

Q: What advice would you give to an esthetician exploring skin care brands or looking at new products?
A: My advice would be to not get distracted by the packaging, smells or claims made by other skin care brands, but to do your own research. Look into the ingredients within a product and look at the key actives. Compare and contrast the results that people are achieving with the products. Prioritize the ingredients and the results because that is why we are in the skincare industry: to ensure we are treating and achieving beautiful skin for our clients. At DermaQuest Clinical, we formulate and manufacture our products ourselves ensuring that we achieve the best possible delivery system as well as overall approach to treating skincare.
Q: Can you give us any sneak peaks or insights into new products or ingredients that you are formulating with?
A: We have plans to introduce new products using plant exosomes and ceramides into our collections. We also are actively formulating with a unique 6 retinoid blend as well as copper peptides which we are excited about! I always try to incorporate new cutting-edge ingredients to better our products overall and ensure we are at the forefront of innovation. Using these products, doing testing before formulation, and having these ingredients used in our products is such a fruitful experience, and I cannot wait to have these reach the mass market.
