DermaMed Solutions Acquires ExcellaDerm

In a move to boost its foothold in the anti-aging market, microdermabrasion and aesthetic technology company DermaMed Solutions LLC has acquired the assets of ExcellaDerm Corp., which also markets microdermabrasion, ultrasound and electrical stimulation technologies.

The transaction significantly enhances DermaMed’s aesthetics market presence. ExcellaDerm brings a base of more than 1,000 clients and has a patented Régenique system, with supporting studies demonstrating that 87% of patients using this medical skin procedure saw a reduction in wrinkles, scarring, blemishes and acne as well as improvement in their skin's health.

Régenique uses a three-step process, which includes microdermabrasion, and enables anyone with a microdermabrasion system, including DermaMed and ExcellaDerm’s customers, to offer the patented, science-based procedure.
