Rivalries on the job are inevitable and should be expected. It is management’s role to handle conflict proactively. Remember to be patient, keep the lines of communication open, and focus on the problem and solutions—not the individuals. By taking these steps, you can build an environment that breeds cooperation, professionalism and respect.
