The Jewish International Connection of New York (JICNY) hosted its 11th annual gala in New York City on December 1, 2015. There, they presented awards to community members including Repêchage CEO and founder Lydia Safarti. Safarti was granted the Tower of Light Award. She was awarded for her accomplishments as a Jewish woman in the United States and commitment and service to the Jewish people through JICNY.
