The Thailand-based health resort Chiva-Som in Hua Hin, Thailand, is to extend its treatment menu with 34 new options. The additions to its extensive new health and wellness menu have been created in line with the health retreat's philosophy of providing beauty, health and longevity solutions through innovative and effective programs. New treatments for this year include a consultation with Chiva-Som's integrative and anti-aging medicine doctor, who will examine the causative factors in a person's history to look beyond diagnoses and symptoms. There is also a new biofeedback stress management service that monitors heart rate variability, while each guest can also be taught individual stress management techniques. Mi-en acupressure - a facial accupressure treatment - will also be offered, which stimulates nerves and muscles to aid relaxation. (From www.leisureopportunities.com)
