CoffeeBerry* is a trademarked name used to describe the whole fruit of the coffee bush, which is red and contains the bean inside. Whole coffee fruit contains high concentrations of beneficial antioxidant phenolic acid and other nutrients. Coffee polyphenols neutralize free radicals, protect against systemic oxidative stress, help reduce the incidence of oxidative pathologies and provide health benefits associated with glucose management, anxiety, type-2 diabetes and oral health.1

The antioxidant content, which is believed to be three times greater than green tea, also is believed to prevent cellular damage in skin when applied topically. Tests also have been run that indicate the extract may be beneficial for wrinkles, dry skin and discoloration. Allure magazine recently reported that: "The texture and tone of the skin treated with CoffeeBerry extract showed 46% improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, 64% in overall skin smoothness and 79% in skin hydration.2

Because of its powerful antioxidant properties, it has the ability to become the next big ingredient in the cosmetics industry. CoffeeBerry contains five of eight rare monosaccharides.2
