Skin Inc. magazine publisher Annette Delagrange agrees that trade shows offer an important venue in which spa professionals can network and learn about the latest treatments and trends, and she is excited to be a part of this history in the making. “For the past two years, I have had the distinct delight of hearing attendees and exhibitors share their success stories from Face & Body,” says Delagrange. “Their satisfaction can be attributed to the show’s conference director, Melinda Taschetta-Millane, and its event manager, Sandy Chapin. Their continuing efforts are ensuring even greater benefits for our clients. I look forward to the future growth of this great show.”
America’s Expo in Chicago
Face & Body is not our only show that is enjoying continuing success. America’s Expo for Skin Care & Spa®, co-produced with Cosmetologists Chicago®, will be held Oct. 7–8, 2007. This year will mark a change in venue, as the show moves to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, offering more space for the exhibitors and speakers who you want to meet. Registration will open April 1, 2007, so be sure to mark your calendar in order to take advantage of preshow savings. For continual updates, please visit the show’s Web site, www.AmericasExpo.com.
This issue features our annual Show-In-Print section. I urge you to use it as a resource to help with your spa’s purchasing decisions. It is a special section designed to offer you background and insight into some of the companies that serve this industry. These businesses also will be present on the Face & Body 2006 show floor. If you haven’t registered for this great event yet, please join us on-site. Be a part of this industry’s history in the making.
Until next month,
