How do you calm and refresh skin after laser treatments and chemical peels?

One way is by using multiple facial modalities and a brand new Kiwi Biocellulose Masque specifically developed for just that purpose. Most sheet masks are developed to stay on the skin for 5-10 minutes to help increase hydration in the skin. However, if your sheet mask is not made from biocellulose fibers, you are not achieving the full benefits of occluding the skin with a sheet mask.

  • Biocellulose, an all-natural fiber tightly woven to withstand tearing, is the premium material of choice for any sheet mask.
  • Biocellulose masks push moisture into the skin through extremely hydrophilic cellulose fabric.
  • Biocellulose fibers can hold moisture up to 100 times their dry weight. This makes an excellent vehicle for infusing restorative elements into the skin, like the kiwi extract and peptides we use in our new Kiwi Biocellulose Masque.

When creating the Kiwi Biocellulose Masque for my Gracious Glow Clean Cosmeceutical™ collection, I was looking for ingredients known for helping restore the skin after lasers, chemical peels and other controlled trauma. Vitamin K is often the go-to ingredient to help restore that natural moisture barrier once it is compromised. Kiwi is loaded with vitamin K, which contains approximately 40 mcg of vitamin K (phylloquinone) per 100g. Kiwi is also packed with vitamin C and E, folate and potassium, all of which are excellent for skin restoration.

MEDISPATM Modalities

In one randomized controlled trial, 30 patients used 1% vitamin K cream after a treatment of high-frequency electrocautery. The conclusion suggests that vitamin K significantly reduces (P < 0.05) healing time in patients.1

We combine the kiwi extract with amino acid peptides and the building blocks of life to help increase collagen and elastin in the skin. How can we increase the amazing benefits of kiwi extract and a peptide-infused biocellulose masque? We can use high power energy modalites directly over the top of the biocellulose masque. However, not just any biocellulose masque will work. I specifically designed my Kiwi Biocellulose Masque to be tissue thin so high-energy will seamlessly penetrate the masque without breaking conductivity.

Using a hot wand modality will assist in opening the pores and stimulating collagen while the cold setting will close the pores, calm the skin and reduce inflammatory conditions.

  • HOT WAND opens pores for extractions.
  • COLD WAND closes pores down and calms the skin.
  • ULTRASOUND increases protein synthesis to strengthen the skin.

Each of these modalities is easily delivered by the Medispa, a seven-in-one facial aesthetic device created by Medicreations. Medicreations is a top-of-class FDA-cleared technology manufacturing facility in the USA. The Medispa comes with a two year warranty and is the only facial aesthetic device that combines toxicology certified and clinically proven Clean CosmeceuticalsTM with its modalities.
