For everything there is a season...except waxing. Waxing is always in season! Do you find your schedule for waxing services to be booked up and overflowing during certain months while other times you have more appointments available than you would like? Appointment times are exactly that—time. Once the time has passed, you can never get it back. An open time slot is income that has not been brought to fruition. We all want to be busy with a long waiting list. For estheticians who specialize in waxing, there are many time slots to fill due to short appointment time slots. Too often, service providers remain passive, waiting for clients to come to them and buying into the idea of a waxing season. Plan for future appointments today and erase the idea that waxing services are limited to certain months of the year.

End the ‘waxing season’ dilemma by educating your clientele and begin strategic planning. Let’s look at educating your clientele. The client may be thinking summertime is the best time for waxing. Sun’s out, buns out, right? Well, not exactly. Educate your clients on the benefits of year-round waxing to ensure the four-to-six-week waxing routine continues. Keep reading to find out the benefits of continued waxing beyond summertime.
