Envy Medical appointed Sona Tolani to the newly created role of senior vice president of marketing. In this role, Tolani will be responsible for building aggressive marketing strategies to strengthen awareness of the company's brand portfolio while reaching out to new customers. She will also focus on growing the market share through a new global retail strategy for the physician and consumer channels.
Tolani brings with her over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, most recently as senior director of global marketing for Dermalogica. Prior to joining Dermalogica, Tolani was senior marketing manager of cosmetics at L'Oreal Paris, where she was instrumental in growing the eye category, including mascara, eyeliners and eye shadows. She began her career in the beauty industry in hair care for salon brand Sebastian International, developing new product concepts and initiatives.
