Trinity Investments LLC (Trinity) and Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. have announced the formation of a joint venture to invest in hotels in Hawaii, California, Mexico and Japan.
The partnership comes after Trinity and Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. acquired The Westin Maui Resort & Spa from an affiliate of Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Trinity will oversee the venture and take on the responsibility of acquisitions and asset managements.
