In anticipation of its completed renovation, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas has appointed a director for its Mokara Spa, Jackie Flory.
Flory is an Omni veteran, having most recently served as spa director at the original Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio. She previously held spa director positions at Lake Austin Resort and the Omni Nashville Hotel.
“I am excited to showcase the newly revamped Mokara Spa to hotel guests and local residents in the city of Austin,” said Flory. “Our guests will experience expertly crafted treatments in a serene and sophisticated environment, while enjoying panoramic views of the Austin Hill Country.”
Set to re-open in May 2019, the updated Mokara Spa at the Omni Barton Creek will measure in at 13,000 square feet, with 17 treatment rooms (including three couples’ treatment rooms). Among the salon and spa offerings will be the signature River Rock Massage, which uses both hot and cold stones; the Arnica Restoration Massage, which includes a massage followed by warm compresses and an application of arnica gel; and the Healing Waters Facial.
