The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is celebrating its grand opening after a redesign that includes relaxation pods, an outdoor spa, 14 treatment rooms, a Timeless Capsule, and signature treatments.

The enhanced 16,000 ft2 spa was designed to create a multi-sensory environment representative of the cultural mix of Miami. To celebrate the grand opening, the spa performed a special sage smudging ceremony to cleanse and purify it of its past and welcome in new fresh energy.

Commenting on the new opening, Sase Gjorsovski, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach said, "The new space is serene and meditative, offering a true sanctuary for wellness, while the treatments bring to life vibrant Miami flavors in a one-of-a-kind spa journey synonymous with the allure and glamour of South Beach."

Capsules

Similar to sensory deprivation tanks, the Timeless Capsules allow for relaxation in solitude with a zero-gravity chair. The capsules are designed to mimic a cocoon-like experience.

The capsule is an elliptical room designed to accommodate time-restricted guests of all ages on an individual or group basis, allowing them to extend or condense their spa experience with minimum human interaction.

Add Some Rhythm to a Massage

The signature treatments combine botanical herbs, sea minerals and essential oils that celebrate the Latin Heritage of Miami.

For example, the Rhythm Massage is an energizing full body massage set to the rhythms of Salsa, Flamenco and Spanish guitar and using Mojito or Piña Colada scented oils for a full sensory experience.

To celebrate the opening, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach will be offer special per night pricing and spa treatment until April 30, 2017.
