Even the most rugged manly man likes to feel a little pampered sometimes. Enter Frank’s Gentlemen’s Salon in Denver, offering the traditional salon and spa menu—including haircuts, facials, manicures and pedicures—with a masculine twist, reports 303 magazine.

Features of the salon include a “Man Cave” waiting room with a rustic theme (including a big screen TV, couch and more), and rooms for spa services such as manicures and facials that are tucked away in the back, for men who might feel a bit self-conscious. Guests are offered libations, including beer from local breweries, upon arrival.

After paying a visit to the original Frank’s location in South Carolina, co-owner Burton Johnson teamed up with Lisa Franz bring the concept to the 303.

“Even though it’s become a lot more acceptable for men to take care of themselves, there’s still a stigma attached to it. It’s important to get away from societal norms, it doesn’t matter who you are, what you do, where you came from, take the time to do something for yourself,” manager Molly Brennan told the publication. “A lot of times in this industry, you don’t even want to go into certain places because you don’t feel cool enough.”

For first time guests, Brennan encourages the haircut, which includes shampoo, a soothing scalp massage and a straight razor shave (as opposed to the more common dry cut).

The salon also features a bevy of Denver-based products, including True Grit and Blake Street Beard Oil for beard treatments.
