Hyatt Makes Appointment to Improve Wellness Initiatives

Mark Vondrasek has been named executive vice president of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he will drive innovation, lead partnerships and develop wellness initiatives.

Building Brands

Mark Vondrasek joins Hyatt with over 25 years of experience in building strong brands through marketing and operations. Prior to his appointment, he worked at Starwood Hotels and Resorts for 15 years in various leadership roles. During his tenure at Starwood, he worked on marketing partnerships and digital initiatives. In addition, he has held roles at Northern Trust, Fidelity Investments and Kemper Financial Services.

Focusing on Wellness 

In his new role, Vondrasek will be working with Hoplamazian to direct Hyatt’s integrated experience strategy, including Hyatt’s wellness initiatives with Miraval and exhale. Additionally, he will be working on scaling new business opportunities, products and services.
