Skin Inc. magazine and associate editor Cathy Christensen have won prestigious Eddie Awards in the 2010 FOLIO: Awards competition, which recognizes editorial excellence in magazine publishing.
Christensen was the silver winner in the category Best Single Article in a B-to-B, Recreation/Sports/Outdoor for her article The Main Event from the January 2010 issue of Skin Inc. magazine, which focuses on spa owners can tap into a new revenue stream by hosting events in their facilities. And the September 2009 issue of Skin Inc. magazine, which featured the theme “Wellness,” won the bronze in the category Best Full Issue in a B-to-B, Recreation/Sports/Outdoor.
The 2008 FOLIO: Awards is one of the largest award competitions in the magazine publishing industry, drawing more than 2,000 entries this year. Expert judges spent weeks evaluating the entries and selecting the winners across 101 editorial categories.
