Lights! Camera! Education! The Skin Inc. LIVE! stage is making its way to the Face & Body Northern California show floor on August 27-28, 2017.
The stage presents an opportunity for attendees to watch demonstrations and hear business sessions while networking with exhibitors and attending free supplier classes. And because most of the sessions are 15 or 30 minutes, you can catch a few each day in between networking.
Here’s a brief schedule of what exciting sessions you can see on the Skin Inc. LIVE! stage Face & Body Northern California.
Sunday, August 27
- Scientific Innovations in Skin Care [30-minute presentation]: Ben Johnson, M.D., of Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare, will discuss the latest technologies in skin care, including peptides, growth factors, collagen stimulators, DNA repair, pigmentation and acne control.

- Landing Your Dream Job [30-minute presentation]: Terri Wojak, business development manager & education director from Tru U Education, will provide valuable tips on seeking employment, building your resume, the interview process, internships and more.
- The ABCDEs of Melanoma [15-minute presentation]: Meghan Rothschild, PR & marketing manager for IMPACT Melanoma, will discuss the ABCDE signs of melanomas that you can then pass along to your clients and use in your treatment room to potentially save a client's life.
- Non-surgical Bust Lift Massage [1-hour demonstration]: Aaron Parnell, developer of Reposturing: The Pain Elimination Method, will show how lifting your bust-line is one of the many benefits of improving posture.
August 28
- Energize the Chakras: Exercises and Products to Balance and Clearing Energy [1-hour demonstration]: Bertaut returns to the stage to share simple methods to balance your chakras and clear energy in your space to experience a natural high.
- Microblading and Microneedling: What Can an Esthetician Legally Do? [15-minute presentation]: Alex Theirsch, founder & director of American Med Spa Association, will talk about what estheticians can do legally in a medical spa, as well as ways to improve the outcomes of every medical spa treatment with your unparalleled knowledge of the skin, increasing your value by increasing your employer’s bottom line.
- Therapeutic Essential Oils, Actions, Dilutions and Uses [30-minute demonstration]: Kim Manley, creator and formulator of KM Herbals, will show practical application for your treatment rooms guided with knowledge of the appropriate essential oils for certain skin types along with specific essences.
