California’s La Quinta Appoints Spa and Fitness Director

La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California, has announced the appointment of Christina Cabrera as director of spa and fitness.

Cabrera will oversee operations and programming, including spa menu development, product selection and the creation of seasonal promotions. Additionally, she will manage the resort’s extensive fitness program, including a variety of complimentary classes such as high-intensity spin, TRX, rejuvenating flow yoga and meditation.

She brings more than 15 years of luxury and boutique hospitality experience to the role, most recently as spa director of The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, where she was responsible for developing a menu of unique and signature services to increase revenue and attract local and resort guests. She also assisted with the opening of two private spas and fitness club. Prior to this role, she served as spa manager of Miramonte Resort in Indian Wells. She has also held positions at The Parker Palm Springs and The Viceroy Palm Springs.
