Judy (Whoolery) Immekus, a member of Cosmetologists Chicago, recently lost her battle with cancer and died peacefully in her Pittsburgh home, surrounded by her children. Her son Luke, daughter Kim, son and daughter-in law, Barry and Emily and her four grandchildren, Sarah, Jessie, Zack and El, survive her.
As well as a loving mother and grandmother, Immekus will be remembered her as the Northeast regional sales and education manager for Helene Curtis Professional and Zotos International. She traveled the entire eastern region of the United States from 1988 to 2004, working with independent and chain salons, schools, distributors and rep groups, helping people build their businesses. Immekus’ reputation was one of kindness, respect and integrity. She was an exemplary industry professional and a loyal friend, forming new relationships wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
