Honoring estheticians who have provided the spa and skin care industries with their knowledge, experience, expertise, dedication and inspiration for more than 20 years, the Aesthetics International Association (AIA) recognizes those who have offered this commitment to excellence through its Academy of Legends program. Recently, the AIA announced it has inducted Christine Heathman, CEO and founder of Advanced Aesthetics/GlyMed Plus, into its Academy of Legends.
Heathman is a licensed master esthetician, massage therapist and burn specialist with more than two decades of clinical practice and research at institutions such as Stanford University and the University of Utah. Honored in 2003 as an industry legend by the American Aestheticians Education Association (AAEA), she believes the future of skin care is now. Heathman is also a well-traveled educator, lecturer and author.
