May 6th is Melanoma Monday, May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month and MoleSafe has the world’s most advanced melanomascreening program. MoleSafe combines advanced technology with the skills of a panel of highly qualified melanoma dermatologists/dermoscopists to diagnose melanoma at the earliest possible stage. Alarming facts about skin cancer:

  • Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. More than 3.5 million skin cancers in over two million people are diagnosed annually.
  • Each year there are more new cases of skin cancer than the combined incidence of cancers of the breast, prostate, lung and colon.
  • Over the past three decades, more people have had skin cancer than all other cancers combined
  • Of the seven most common cancers in the US, melanoma is the only one whose incidence is increasing. Between 2000 and 2009, incidence climbed 1.9 percent annually.

Be sure to check Skin Inc.'s Facebook page over the next few days as we approach Melanoma Monday for more posts on skin cancer awareness.
