Mohegan Sun announced plans to renovate its Sky Tower, including both its 1,200 room hotel and its spa.  Formerly an Elemis spa, the Sky Tower spa will be renovated and rebranded as a Mandara Spa. The company is working with Steiner Leisure Limited to not only renovate the spa in the Sky Tower, but establish a second location in the Earth Tower, both located in Uncasville, CT.

Mandara Spa was established in Bali, Indonesia, and it is known for its tropical, multi-cultural spa experience. The Sky Tower’s existing 22,000 ft2 spa is expected to be finished in 2017, whereas the Mandara Spa in the Earth Tower will be completed in 2016.

The Mandara Spa in the Earth tower with seven treatments rooms, offering premium spa offerings just like the location in the Sky Tower. Having two locations on the property will elevate the brand’s guest experience and define modern indulgence. Spa services offered vary from location to location, providing a unique experience for the guest.

Leonard Fluxman, president and CEO of Steiner Leisure Limited, said, “The Mandara Spa brand has a global footprint, and its debut at Mohegan Sun will not only introduce innovative treatment and product offerings, but will also fuse time-honored Balinese traditions with regional influences for an unparalleled spa experience.”
