Raleigh, NC-based Blue Water Spa donated $107,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County. The spa’s clients and team members worked together to achieve the donation, averaging $37.11 per individual contribution. The spa raised the money by offering spa and laser hair removal services at a reduced price for those who donated to the charity. 919-870-6066

Ardell faux lashes helped treat eight young ladies who are patients of the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA where they battle cancer, to facials, manicures and makeup applications, including Ardell lashes. The day was hosted by the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverly Hills, CA, and was organized by Wish Upon a Teen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teenagers. 323-728-2999

The SouthShore Skin Care Centers and Spas, with locations in Plymouth and Cohasset MA, held Sunbeams and Snowflakes, a day of beauty and open house benefiting the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation, in early December. Clients received 10% off products and services purchased, and spa team members donated their services for the event.
