Cara Cosmetics International launched the Share the Light for Tornado Disaster Victims campaign, created to help raise funds for the victims of the recent disasters in the southern part of the United States. With each purchase of a Cara Massage Soy Candle, the company will donate 10% of the net proceeds to The NCA Disaster Relief Fund. 407-622-1999

Tranquility Day Spa and Salon of Haymarket, VA, raffled off a $1,300 gift card package to help raise funds to build a house for eight Zambian orphans in July. The inspiration for this project came from the family of the late Molly Mizerak of Purcellville, VA, who succumbed to a three-month battle with brain cancer, passing away in June. She was a champion of Every Orphan’s Hope projects, and the raffle is an attempt to keep her dream alive to build the home. 571-248-4150
