Massage Envy recently gave its 100,000th healthy skin facial at the chain spa’s Cherry Creek, CO, facility. The recipient of the momentous facial, Maggie Baldwin of Denver, received $100 toward Massage Envy services or retail products.
Eve Taylor was recognized by The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists in the United Kingdom in its Guild Awards of Excellence. Named as offering “Best Supplier Specific Training,” the awards are determined by the votes of spa therapists and nail technicians. 905-631-7147
Milady and the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) awarded Dorothy McKinley-Soressi with the 2010 N.F. Cimaglia Award, which recognizes continuous outstanding service in the beauty industry and cosmetology education. McKinley-Soressi, vice president of industry relations for Empire Education Group, has been heavily involved in the beauty industry, and served as the director of the AACS and chair of the Cosmetology Educators of America committee. 518-348-2300
The Beauty Bus Foundation honored its 75 volunteers with a Mexican-themed cocktail and appetizer award reception, calling attention to the support of beauty professionals and volunteers who help drive the bus.
