Wellness and spa group #SpasPushingLimits recently competed in the Subaru Half Ironman Triathlon in Victoria, BC, to raise money for The Eminence Kids Foundation.

Founded in 2013, The Eminence Kids Foundation provides critically ill children undergoing treatment around the world with organic fruits, juices and vegetables to assist in their recovery. Monica Helmstetter of #SpasPushingLimits along with 14 other spa and wellness professional raised $10,000 for the organization from the race. The Eminence Kids Foundation has donated more than 47,000 organic meals to kids in need around the globe.

"I had heard of the Eminence Kids Foundation before and knew that the charity was supporting children," said Helmstetter. "It wasn't until about 9 months ago that I learned more specifics about the program and how much of an impact this charity makes on so many children coping with serious illness."

"Starting #SpasPushingLimits opened up a door that enabled me to start giving back, doing what I love and unite like-minded people in our industry. It was a natural fit," she added.
