Successful Hands Grant Program Accepting Applications

As part of the Successful Hands Grant Program, Performance Health and Massage Envy will award eight $1,000 grants to massage therapy students in 2018. Additionally, each winner’s school will receive a $500 grant and a $500 product package.

To apply for the grant, students much answer the question “What is your motivation for becoming a massage therapist?” Applications are due Oct. 15, 2018; winners will be notified by Dec. 15, 2018.

This year’s selection committee includes:

  • Julie Keller Callaghan, editor-in-chief and publisher, American Spa
  • Scott Dartnall, president and CEO, One Concept
  • Mae Manacap-Johnson, editor, The Gospel of Beauty
  • Karen Menehan, editor in chief, MASSAGE Magazine
  • Michelle Medaris, associate editor, Massage Today
  • Leslie Young, vice president of communication and professional outreach, Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP)
