The second day of the 2008 Face & Body Spa & Healthy Aging Conference and Expo began with the inspirational Keynote and Coffee session featuring Rhonda Britten, an author, Emmy Award winner, frequent Oprah guest and founder of the Fearless Living Institute. Britten shared motivating and moving stories with an attentive audience, encouraging each attendee to take life-changing risks and providing them with the tools to live a more fearless life.Attendees woke up to Brittens unbounding energy and were motivated by her incredible honesty. It was a session not to be missed!

Advanced Education Conference Program

Attendees' next stop was the Advanced Education Conference Program, featuring a variety of industry leaders, including Peter T. Pugliese, MD, Circadia by Dr. Pugliese; Deedee Crossett, San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology; Eve Taylor, Eve Taylor London; Rebecca James Gadberry, YG Laboratories;and Christine Heathman, GlyMed Plus/Advanced Aesthetics.At tracks including Business-building, Medical Spa, Esthetic Science, Trends and Wellness/Sustainability, attendees laughed and learned from the firsthand experience of the speaker and of each other through question and answer opportunities throughout the day. Tomorrow, the conference program continues featuring leaders such as Mark Lees, PhD, Boldijarre Koronczay, Susanne Warfield and Angela Cortright.

The expo commences

Crowds streamed into Moscone North bright and early this morning eager to hit the floor searching for quality products, equipment and the latest trends in the industry. More than 450 booths offered a multitude of choices for these discerning clients. The opportunity continues tomorrow, providing more information and purchasing options.

Manufacturer Classrooms also commenced in the afternoon, as well as Exhibitor Presentation Areas giving attendees product-specific, real-world knowledge that can be applied to spas immediately.

The Career Networking Center kicked off, linking industry professionals with spas and businesses seeking new talent. This unique area brought a new level of connection to this ever-evolving show.
