Day 2: Face & Body 2009

Floor

The second day of Face & Body 2009 debuted on Sunday to eager attendees seeking education offerings, industry ideas and information, and the new lines and products that were popping up on the expo floor. With choices of Advanced Education Conference Program sessions, Manufacturer Classes and on-floor demonstrations to select from, the knowledge available was diverse and extensive.

Conference-goers and Manufacturer Class attendees got an early start on the day, using the morning hours to pick up insightful, well-researched spa industry information and business solutions. Speakers shared their experience and knowledge, often incorporating technique demonstrations and actual ingredients into their presentations, and jotting notes and listening intently, the attendee had the chance to ask questions and apply the lessons to their own situations.

The tracks of Wellness/Sustainability, Esthetic Science, Business-building and Trends drew in focused spa professionals looking for tools to amplify their businesses, and they left with methods, techniques and ideas they could put into effect as soon as they arrived home.

The expo floor opened in the latter half of Sunday morning to a flood of spa professionals looking for the newest ideas, products, procedures and business solutions—and they weren’t disappointed. Employees from the industry’s top suppliers were on hand to provide expo attendees with specific information about ingredients and techniques, and attendees used the opportunity to sample new offerings, speak with knowledgeable staff about product and technique questions, and discover what trends to watch for in the near future.

Also adding excitement to the event, throughout the day, RevitaLash held drawings for attendees to win $1,000 in cash. Four lucky attendees who dropped their names in the drum at the company’s booth went home with a little more money to invest in their businesses.

Tomorrow, July 13, 2009, more attendees explore the expo floor, finding the industry’s top products and procedures to bring home to their spas.
