NACCAS is a nonprofit corporation that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national agency for the institutional accreditation of post-secondary schools and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, including specialized schools.
The NCEA Commission on Accreditation (COA) was formed to facilitate and supervise the continuing education requirements of skin care professionals for recertification and relicensure. NCEA Certified is a professional status awarded to skin care professionals that have met competency standards set forth by the NCEA's 1,200-hour analysis.
