‘Tis the Season for ... Face & Body® Midwest

FBMW_m

Like the winter holidays, Face & Body Midwest Spa Conference & Expo takes place on an annual basis during the same month every year. As spa owners, your holiday season—which takes place between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve—requires pre-planning, which probably starts as early as late summer. In the same way, it’s about that time to start planning to attend Face & Body Midwest, which takes place March 22–24, 2014, in the Skyline Ballroom at McCormick Place West in Chicago.

Make a list and check it twice

Before you register, be sure to visit the event’s website: www.FaceandBody.com/midwest. It’s important to make a list of goals you are trying to accomplish by attending Face & Body. Are you an Illinois esthetician who requires continuing education units (CEs) to maintain your license? If so, there are various educational opportunities that offer CEs at the show. In fact, the new condition-based tracks during the Advanced Education Conference Program on Saturday, March 22, 2014—including Hyperpigmentation/Anti-aging; Acne/Rosacea; and The Body, as well as an all-day Business Summit—are designed to give you in-depth professional skin care education and six CEs.

Are you looking to add a new product, service or technique to your spa? Then you’ll want to visit as many Supplier Classes as possible, taking place throughout the day on Sunday, March 23–Monday, March 24. Also, while doing your pre-planning, be sure to check out the ever-expanding exhibitor list on the website. More than 120 companies will exhibit at Face & Body, featuring various products and services on display and offering invaluable information that can help you grow your spa business. Additionally, Face & Body is co-located with America’s Beauty Show® (ABS). All registrants have free access to the ABS show floor where you’ll find hundreds of beauty products on display.

The gift that keeps giving

By attending Face & Body Midwest, you’ll have the ability to come back and share the knowledge gained at the event with your team, allowing those team members who didn’t attend to benefit from your first-hand experience. There will be plenty of networking opportunities, providing the ability to make connections and learn from other spa owners and estheticians who may have tackled some of the issues you are currently facing. Additionally, be sure to visit the Expo where you can learn first-hand from spa industry suppliers. They are on-hand to answer questions and sell their products. Many suppliers offer special show discounts, so take advantage and save!

The early bird gets the worm

Whether attending continuing education or shopping at the Expo for your spa, Face & Body offers a variety of registration packages designed just for you. See Face & Body Midwest Registration Packages and Pricing. Be sure to register online by March 22, 2014, to receive discounted registration fees.
