Have the client begin using pigment-suppressing products that contain hydroquinone, kojic acid and azelaic acid two weeks before their first hair removal procedure.
Two weeks later, have them make an appointment with you for a superficial chemical peel, which will also work to suppress the melanogenesis process.
Two weeks after their peel, begin the laser hair removal treatments.
Make sure they use the appropriate post-procedure products, purchased from your retail area, which should contain a 0.5% hydrocortisone, as well as hydrating and soothing ingredients, such as niacinamide and bisabolol; follow up with another in-office treatment two weeks later.
Continue this treatment plan until the desired results are achieved.
